1854-O $3 XF45 PCGS. CAC. Green-gold surfaces coat
evenly-worn, well-defined devices. Abrasions require a magnifying
glass to detect. The inaugural year of production of the
three-dollar gold piece brought with it the only New Orleans Mint
issue of this denomination. Minted to the tune of 24,000 pieces,
this issue is relatively available, but its uniqueness in the
