1856 $3 --Repaired, Cleaned--ANACS. AU58 Details. The 1856 is conditionally scarcer than its mintage implies. The strike is slightly soft on the curls, but there is little wear. The reverse field is hairlined, and repairs are present near 6 o'clock on the obverse and 12 o'clock on the reverse.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25M8, PCGS# 7974, Greysheet# 8629)
