Pleasing 1856-S Three Dollar, AU53
1856-S $3 AU53 PCGS. Medium S. The 1856-S is the most available San Francisco Mint three dollar piece and is therefore quite popular among type collectors. This piece is a splendid representative with lovely rose-gold patina and lots of luster. Liberty's hair is a bit soft and there are a number of grade-defining abrasions, but no marks are of any significance.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25M9, PCGS# 7975, GSID# 8664)
