Charming 1857 Three Dollar, AU58
1857 $3 AU58 NGC. Only 28,891 pieces were struck and today examples are scarce any finer than the present piece. Splendid apricot-gold patina embraces both sides of this briefly circulated specimen. Scattered abrasions limit the grade, but they barely affect the impressive luster. Clash marks are noted on each side.From The Menlo Park Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
