1857 $3 MS62 NGC. Considered a common date in the three dollar series, the 1857 had a mintage of a mere 20,891 coins, the eighth highest mintage of any issue in the 36 year history of the denomination. This sharp and attractive Mint State piece has frosty light yellow luster with scattered grade-consistent abrasions. Relatively few Mint State pieces still exist.
