Description

1859 $3 PCGS Genuine. The PCGS number ending in .98 suggests Damage as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has AU58 details, but the reverse has four small curly pinscratches that some might interpret as graffiti. Three of these are located on the field between 3 and 4 o'clock, and the fourth pinscratch is above the AR in DOLLARS. Only 15,558 pieces were struck.
