1860-S $3 AU Details, Improperly Cleaned, NCS. Brilliant surfaces. The devices are satiny and the fields have a texture intermediate between satiny and prooflike. A touch of striking softness is noted on the highpoints of the designs, but both the date and mintmark are bold.
