1860-S Three Dollar, XF40
Undeniably Original Patina
1860-S $3 XF40 PCGS. The San Francisco issues in the three
dollar gold series are largely scarce in high grade. The 1860-S is
an excellent example of this. Most of the 7,000-coin mintage
entered circulation. The current XF coin displays smooth and
lightly worn surfaces, but with deep orange-gold patina
