Pleasing Patina
1862 $3 -- Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. The surfaces are
slightly muted with faint hairlines, as NGC notes, but they have
reacquired pleasing olive-gold patina that mimics what would
normally be found on a lightly circulated 1862 three dollar gold
piece. This coin retains hints of luster in the most protected
areas of the fields, with light wear elsewhere. No major contact
marks are apparent.(Registry values: N1793)
