Description
1864 Three Dollar, AU55
Lustrous Fields
1864 $3 AU55 NGC. Much luster remains in the fields of this
Choice AU example, complementing straw-gold surfaces with scattered
light marks. The bowknot shows an above-average strike, with strong
eye appeal. The 1864 three dollar comes from a small mintage of
only 2,630 coins, and Mint State pieces are rare. This is an
excellent collector-grade example.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25MK, PCGS# 7985, GSID# 8637)
