1867 $3 MS60 NGC. Ex: South Texas Collection. Only 2,600 examples were minted in 1867, and survivors are elusive. This piece is sharply struck, and like most examples of the date, it has reflective fields. The low mintage was insufficient for the original die polish to diminish from repeated press cycles.
