1867 $3 MS61 NGC. A limited mintage of 2,600 pieces ensures
the scarcity of the 1867 three dollar gold piece, and examples are
notably rare in most Mint State grades. This semireflective example
displays rich orange-gold patina and a bold strike, with minor
abrasions that determine the grade. Census: 11 in 61, 14 finer
