1868 $3 MS63 PCGS. Though it has a small original mintage, the 1868 three dollar has a high survival rate on a percentage basis. As a Select example, this piece is toward the top end of the certified spectrum, both numerically and aesthetically. The canary-gold surfaces offer splendid luster, and the few minor abrasions present are consistent with the grade. Population: 25 in 63, 20 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N4719)
