1868 $3 -- Obverse Scratched -- NGC Details. AU. A meager mintage of 4,850 pieces makes the 1868 a better date within the challenging three dollar series. The present apricot-gold example has several wispy to moderate marks on the left obverse, but Liberty's eyebrow and curls show only light wear.Auction Info
