Appealing AU58 1878 Three Dollar
1878 $3 AU58 NGC. A few light scrapes on Liberty's chin and in the fields on this piece, with a couple of luster grazes, attest to a brief stay in circulation. The coin nonetheless has much appeal and nearly full Mint luster remaining, and with its appealing orange-gold coloration, it would fit nicely into a Mint State type set.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25MZ, PCGS# 8000, GSID# 8649)
