1878 $3 MS63 PCGS. Variety 1. Slight doubling appears on the
reverse and the repunched date. Honey-gold surfaces flash with
orange and lilac in a coruscating pattern on this Select three
dollar coin. Well-struck with sharp devices, light field abrasions
are consistent with the grade and are not bothersome. The issue is
typically available in Mint State, making it a favorite choice of
