Attractive 1878 Three Dollar, MS64
1878 $3 MS64 NGC. Attractively toned in peach shades, which are slightly deeper in hue on the reverse. The coruscating surfaces are only minimally abraded. The ARS in DOLLARS and the upper right portion of the wreath exhibit minor die doubling, as often seen on this issue. The loops of the 8s in the date display subtle recutting.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25MZ, PCGS# 8000, GSID# 8649)
