1878 $3 MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1878 three dollar had the second-highest mintage (82,304 pieces) in the series after the 1854. Unsurprisingly, many type collectors choose to own this date. Satiny luster shimmers across the lightly abraded surfaces of the present specimen.
