1878 $3 --Reverse Rim Damage--NCS. Unc Details. Two minuscule rim nicks on the reverse have kept this attractive piece from an NGC holder. Dazzling satiny luster shimmers across the smooth surfaces. The well-defined details are complemented by pleasing yellow-gold patina. Scattered light grazes in the fields are typical of a Choice grade, with a couple of tiny digs noted on the reverse.
