1879 $3 AU58 ANACS. From a tiny issue of 3,000 pieces comes this attractive, briefly circulated golden beauty. The fields show warm luster and an attractive blend of yellow-gold and orange, the latter more prevalent on the obverse. The central devices are boldly impressed with just a trace of friction on the highpoints.
