1879 $3 --Scratched Reverse--ICG. MS60 Details. Warm yellow-gold luster with no trace of wear. This piece shows a small flaw below the first S in STATES on the obverse, but it is the wispy scratch within the wreath to the right of 3 DOLLARS on the reverse that makes the details grade necessary. Still, this piece displays well.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25N2, PCGS# 8001, GSID# 8650)
