An Extremely Low-Mintage Issue
1881 $3 AU55 ANACS. The 1881 three dollar has an amazingly
low business-strike mintage of 500 pieces, making it one of the
most popular issues of the series. Survival rates are
correspondingly low. This Choice AU specimen displays yellow-gold
surfaces that exhibit a contrasting field-motif appearance. Neither
