Luminous Choice AU 1882 Three Dollar
1882 $3 AU55 PCGS. Though this issue's mintage of 1,500 pieces seems tiny, it is actually the highest mintage for a three dollar gold issue from 1880 to 1886. This briefly circulated piece has luminous orange-gold surfaces that show a touch of deep rose in the obverse fields.
