    Description

    1882 Three Dollar, Contrasted MS60

1882 $3 MS60 NGC. Considerable prooflike contrast occurs between the light yellow-gold motifs and the reflective fields, giving this lustrous Uncirculated three dollar gold coin a strong degree of aesthetic appeal. The upper hair strands are somewhat incomplete, but the wreath elements, including the bowknot and adjacent leaves, are sharp. This is one of only 1,500 three dollar gold coins struck in 1882.(Registry values: N2998)
