Popular, Low Mintage Date
1882 $3 MS63 PCGS. 2 Over High 2, Breen-6396. This
dramatically repunched date may actually be diagnostic to all 1882
threes, but is definitely seen on the majority of survivors. The
fields are brightly reflective, as expected on this desirable issue
of just 1,500 business strikes, with only slight scuffiness in the
fields surrounding the portrait. Population: 35 in 63, 33 finer
