1882 $3 MS63 Prooflike NGC. CAC. Just 1,500 business strike three dollar gold pieces were produced in 1882, and so it is unsurprising that coins like this one should show reflectivity in the fields. This charming yellow-gold example has considerable field-to-device contrast as well. Mildly abraded, which accounts for the grade.
