Semiprooflike 1884 Three Dollar, MS61
1884 $3 MS61 NGC. The memorably low production for the 1884 three dollar was a stingy 1,000 coins. The present Mint State survivor is considerably more attractive than the MS61 designation might imply, with lustrous yellow-gold surfaces that are remarkably unimpaired, despite the small patch of hair-thin marks in the central reverse.
