    Rare Doily Label Holder

    1884 $3 MS62 PCGS. A prooflike and crisply struck representative whose flashy butter-gold fields display fewer than the expected number of abrasions. The cheek has one moderate mark. A meager 1,000 pieces were struck, and unlike the 1888, relatively few coins were set aside by dealers at the time of issue. Encapsulated in a rare doily label holder.(Registry values: N2998)
