1885 $3 --Reverse Damage--NGC. AU Details. The 1885 has a minuscule business strike mintage of 801 pieces. The present apricot and sun-yellow example shows no wear on the devices, but the date and nearby field have been repaired, and the 88 is crudely re-engraved.
