1887 $3 MS62 PCGS. Doubled Die Obverse. The third-to-last three dollar issue, made to the extent of only 6,000 pieces. This MS62 example has stunning, rich orange-red color that cedes to light yellow in the protected areas, with much prooflike luster evident overall. Die doubling is evident at RICA and STAT on the obverse, and in BERTY on the headdress. Certified in a green-label holder.(Registry values: N2998)
