Description
1887 Three Dollar, MS63
Rich Color
1887 $3 MS63 PCGS. A generally bold strike complements
luminous, satiny mint luster with rich orange-gold, red-amber, and
honey hues throughout. A lone speck below the D in DOLLAR serves as
a pedigree marker. The 1887 boasts a small mintage of 6,000 pieces,
although Mint State coins were well saved at the time of issue,
since the denomination hardly circulated by the 1880s.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25NA, PCGS# 8009, GSID# 8658)
