Bright 1889 Near-Mint State Three Dollar
1889 $3 AU58 NGC. In this last year of the three dollar denomination, the mintage fell to 2,300 circulation strikes. A generous amount of luster remains on the brassy-gold surfaces of this near-Mint State specimen, and the design elements retain strong detail after discounting high-point wear.
