1889 $3 MS64 NGC. CAC. The 1889 three dollar issue was the
final year of the denomination, and alongside the three cent
nickel, was phased out from circulation. This lovely piece
engrosses with orange-gold luster with splashes of auburn that dot
both sides, along with being well-struck and free from notable
abrasions. At MS64, NGC has only found 28 numerically finer
examples, with CAC endorsing only 11 finer (1/26).(Registry values: N2998)From The Presidio Collection, Part II.
