Extraordinary Overall Preservation
1878 $3 MS64+ PCGS Secure. CAC. The high mintage of the 1878
coupled with a general indifference by the public insured there
would be a relatively large number of survivors of this date. This
is a highly lustrous example that exhibits bright yellow-gold
color. The strike is notably strong, only lacking definition on the
bow knot, and there are no obvious or detracting abrasions on
