Description

(circa 1851) Dodd & Co. M-OH-9, Cincinnati, OH, MS63 Brown NGC. Copper. . The name DODD on the coronet was repunched over the error DOOD. Golden-brown toning dominates, although the legends display aqua tints. The portrait shows a few insignificant ticks when viewed beneath a loupe. The design is a charming imitation of the Federal ten dollar piece.
