Description

1873-CC Trade Dollar, AU55
Misplaced Date, Colorfully Toned

1873-CC T$1 Coxe-1, Misplaced 87, Gouged D, AU55 PCGS. V10. A Challenge 50 Set Variety. The top of an 87 is apparent in the dentils below the date, and a die line passes through the D in DOLLAR. Orange-red and olive-green toning embraces this better-date Carson City Trade dollar. High-point wear is minimal, and the field marks are moderate. Among CC-mint issues of the series, only the 1878-CC is rarer.
