Description

1873-S T$1 Chop Mark MS61 PCGS. A single character shaped like a torii (Shinto gate) was punched to the left of the eagle on the reverse with aftereffects on the obverse. Aside from the "chop," this is a bright example with subtle blue and gold iridescence and a few dots of deeper color. Reed marks and wispy abrasions combine to account for the grade.
