Elusive 1873-S Trade Dollar, MS63
1873-S T$1 MS63 PCGS. The 1873-S is a very scarce and highly respected issue in the Trade dollar series. Even though 703,000 pieces were produced, many were exported overseas and original, high grade pieces such as this are very elusive. This piece is sharply defined throughout. The surfaces show light, even steel-gray patina with deeper accents of golden-brown and electric-blue around the devices. Lightly abraded.
