1874-CC T$1 MS64 PCGS. Tall CC. Period after FINE. Orange-red and blue-green visit the obverse periphery, but most of this thoroughly lustrous near-Gem remains untoned. The strike is exemplary, and smooth surfaces ensure the eye appeal. Uncirculated examples are scarce, and when encountered are generally in MS61 to MS63 grades. Population: 20 in 64, 2 finer (8/09).(Registry values: N4719)
