Brilliant Choice 1874-S Trade Dollar
1874-S T$1 MS64 NGC. Breen-5785. Large S, which Breen considered rare. No period after FINE, apparently inadvertently removed from a working hub since the mint error appears on other reverse dies. This is a brilliant and satiny near-Gem with surprisingly smooth surfaces. Much scarcer than the 1877-S in this grade.
