    Description

    1875-S T$1 AU58 ANACS Breen-5795. Type One Obverse, Type Two Reverse. Micro S mintmark, which according to Breen (1988) and Bowers (1993) is very rare. This lightly circulated S-Mint displays remarkably clean surfaces that retain luster in the recessed areas. Occasional dappled russet patina travels the peripheries. Strike weakness is noted in Liberty's hair, on several of the star centers, and on the TED of UNITED. Light roller marks are also visible in the lower left (facing) obverse and lower right (facing) reverse.(Registry values: N491)
