Important Gem 1875-S Trade Dollar

1875-S T$1 MS65 NGC. Type One Reverse. The surfaces are uncommonly smooth for the type, and the only mentionable abrasions are a few tiny reeding marks in the right obverse field. The luster is full with a richly frosted texture, and both sides are bathed in warm golden patina. Roller marks (as produced) bisect the centers, and there is some incompleteness of detail over the highpoints in those areas. Still, this enticing Gem has few rivals for either preservation or visual appeal. NGC has graded only five numerically finer survivors (1/08).(Registry values: N4719)
