Description

1875 Trade Dollar, MS64+
Highly Lustrous, Lightly Toned

1875 T$1 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Type Two Reverse without berry under claw. This is a remarkable near-Gem Trade dollar that exudes thick mint frost, fully evident beneath the variegated shades of pale blue, gray, and golden patina. As often seen on this issue, the strike is somewhat less than complete over the highest portions of the design. Just a few small abrasions are scattered over each side. Population: 19 in 64 (1 in 64+), 3 finer (6/13).(Registry values: N2998)
