Doubled Die Reverse
1876-CC T$1 Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS60 PCGS. Ex:
Rian's Bequest. Dramatic die doubling is evident on the reverse,
particularly on the olive branch, arrow shafts, and the tip of the
eagle's right (facing) wing. This Mint State example displays
original russet, amber, and blue-green toning around the borders,
with light golden interiors. Minimally abraded for the grade with
good eye appeal.From The Rian's Bequest Collection.
