Doubled Die Reverse
1876-CC T$1 FS-801, Doubled Die Reverse AU58 PCGS. Type One
Obverse and Reverse, Tall CC. Bold die doubling is seen on all
reverse design elements, but is most notable on the olive branch,
where the spread is especially wide. This near-Mint example
displays traces of light golden color over bright, silvery-gray
surfaces, with remnants of semiprooflike mirroring seen in the
fields. The strike is sharp and, save for slight high-point
friction, the details are complete.Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 145815, Base PCGS# 97042, Greysheet# 351917)
