    Description

    1876-CC Trade Dollar, AU58
    Partial Luster Remains

1876-CC T$1 Type Two Reverse AU58 NGC. Tall CC. The Carson City Mint produced 509,000 Trade dollars in 1876. Mint State survivors are scarcely seen, making this near-Mint representative highly appealing to budget-conscious collectors. The surfaces display deep gunmetal-gray toning with subtle golden luster emerging from the protected regions of the fields. The strike is bold, and trivial friction defines the grade. Census: 33 in 58, 51 finer (3/17).

    Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 40113, Base PCGS# 7042)
