    Description

    1876-CC Trade Dollar, Unc Details
    No Berry Reverse, Chopmarked

1876-CC T$1 Type Two Reverse -- Chopmarked -- NGC Details. Unc. Tall CC. The Type One Obverse (scroll end points left), Type Two Reverse (no berry) design is the one usually seen for the 1876-CC Trade dollar. This example has the sharpness and luster of an Uncirculated coin, but a chopmark on Liberty's midsection near the hand prevents a numeric grade. Delicate shades of pale blue, lavender, and gold grace lightly marked surfaces. The strike detail is good, if slightly uneven. A scarce Carson City issue in high grades.

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
