Description
Elusive Near-Gem 1876 Trade Dollar
1876 T$1 MS64 PCGS. Type One Obverse, Type Two Reverse. A blazing, satiny-white coin with scattered instances of golden toning. Highly lustrous with lightly marked surfaces and a bold strike. A slight scrape is noted just above and to the left of the eagle's head. This issue is conditionally scare at the near-Gem grade level and rare any finer, despite a reasonably hefty original mintage of 455,000 pieces.From The Joseph C.
