    Description

    Vibrant, Satiny 1876 Trade Dollar
MS66, Only One Finer at PCGS

1876 T$1 MS66 PCGS. Type Two Obverse, Type One Reverse. This Centennial-year Trade dollar comes from the surprisingly small (for the era) mintage of only 455,000 coins in Philadelphia, but nonetheless an amount twice as much as the year previous. This Premium Gem is virtually unimprovable at this grade level, sharply struck and displaying full star radials, along with intricate detail on Liberty's hair. Vibrant, satiny mint luster complements the traces of light gold toning on both sides. An excellent potential acquisition for a type or date set. Population: 8 in 66, 1 finer (1/11).(Registry values: N7079)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2539, PCGS# 7041)

    Weight: 27.22 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
