    Description

    1876 Trade Dollar, MS64+
    CAC-Approved Type Coin

1876 T$1 Type One Obverse, Type One Reverse, MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Substantial cartwheel luster illuminates the satiny fields and devices of this high-end near-Gem, complementing a light golden tint on each side and minimal abrasions. Stars 11 to 13 are weak, but this coin is otherwise well-struck. Type collectors frequently seek an attractive 1876 Trade dollar. The issue is usually available through MS64, and high-end examples such as the present occasionally make appearances to excite bidders at auction.
